Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our registration platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the online registration platform operated by Saints of Florida, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("you" or "Parent/Guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this platform.

By submitting a registration and/or payment through this platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are the parent or legal guardian of the student(s) being registered.

2. Description of Service

Saints of Florida, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization serving homeschool families in the State of Florida. This platform provides the following services:

  • Online registration for educational programs and activities
  • Secure payment processing for registration fees
  • Parent Portal for managing registrations, viewing receipts, and contacting support
  • Generation and storage of receipts for scholarship reimbursement purposes

3. User Accounts

Parent Accounts

Parent accounts are accessed via email-based magic links. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email address associated with your account. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Staff Accounts

Staff accounts are created by invitation and secured with passwords. Staff members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.

Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and registering students. You are responsible for updating your information promptly if it changes.

4. Registration and Enrollment

  • Submitting a registration form does not guarantee enrollment. Registration is only confirmed upon successful payment processing.
  • Enrollment is subject to program capacity. If a program reaches capacity, you may be placed on a waitlist.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or modify programs, locations, schedules, and capacity at our discretion. If we cancel a program for which you have registered and paid, you will receive a full refund.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that all student information submitted is accurate and complete. Inaccurate information may delay or prevent registration.

5. Payments and Fees

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment processor, Stripe:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Processed immediately. Your card is charged at the time of registration.
  • ACH Bank Transfer: Processing takes 3–5 business days. Your registration is held in a pending state during this period. If the ACH transfer fails, you will be notified and given a grace period to retry payment before your registration spot is released.

Processing Fees

A processing fee may be applied to credit/debit card payments to cover third-party transaction costs. The processing fee percentage is disclosed on the registration form before you submit payment. ACH bank transfers do not incur a processing fee.

Late Fees

Registrations submitted after a specified deadline may be subject to a late fee. The late fee amount and applicable date are displayed on the registration form.

Pricing

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) and include applicable program fees. Prices are subject to change, but any price changes will not affect registrations already confirmed and paid.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund requests must be submitted to our support teamat [email protected].
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not comply with our refund policy or that are submitted after applicable deadlines.
  • Processing fees are non-refundable.
  • If we cancel a program, you will receive a full refund including any processing fees paid.

7. Receipts and Documentation

Upon successful payment, we generate a per-student receipt in PDF format. Receipts are stored securely and can be downloaded from the Parent Portal at any time. Receipts are provided for scholarship reimbursement purposes and include the student name, parent/guardian name, itemized fees, payment method, and our organization's EIN.

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of receipt information. If you notice an error, contact our support team to request a corrected receipt.

8. Liability Waiver

By registering a student for any program through this platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Participation in educational and physical activities carries inherent risks
  • You assume all risks associated with your child's participation in our programs
  • You release, discharge, and hold harmless Saints of Florida, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your child's participation
  • You authorize Saints of Florida, Inc. to seek emergency medical treatment for your child if you cannot be reached, and you agree to be responsible for any resulting medical expenses

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use this platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or computer systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the platform

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Saints of Florida, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using this platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

This platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saints of Florida, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use this platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saints of Florida, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Seminole County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us directlyat [email protected]. We will attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation within 30 days.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where practicable, by notifying registered users via email. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, Sections 8, 12, 13, 14, and 15) shall survive.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saints of Florida, Inc. regarding your use of this platform, superseding any prior agreements.
