Code of Conduct

Saints of Florida, Inc. expects all students and families to uphold these standards at every practice, event, and activity. Parents are responsible for reviewing this Code of Conduct with their children and ensuring their understanding of these expectations.

1. Respect Coaches

Students will listen to and follow the instructions of coaches and SAINTS staff at all times. Coaches dedicate their time and expertise to support each student's growth. Disrespectful behavior toward coaches — including arguing, ignoring instructions, or speaking rudely — will not be tolerated.

2. Respect Equipment & Environment

Students will handle all equipment with care and use it only as directed. Program facilities and shared spaces must be kept clean and orderly. Students are responsible for any intentional damage to equipment or property.

3. Respect Others

All students, families, coaches, and volunteers deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness. Bullying, harassment, exclusion, or any form of disrespectful treatment toward others — whether in person or online — is strictly prohibited.

4. Participate

Students are expected to arrive on time, prepared to engage fully in each session. Consistent participation builds skills, supports teammates, and honors the commitment made by coaches and the organization to provide quality programming.

5. Good Sportsmanship

Win or lose, students will demonstrate grace, humility, and encouragement toward teammates and opponents alike. Celebrating others' successes, accepting outcomes positively, and supporting teammates through difficulty are the hallmarks of good character.

6. Cell Phone Usage

Cell phones are not permitted during SAINTS (including snack time) unless the child has a medical device that requires it (e.g., a glucose monitor). Parents wishing to contact their child during a session should do so through the lead coach.

7. Choose Words Wisely

Students are expected to communicate with care. Profanity, name-calling, trash talk, and hurtful language have no place in our PE program. Words have lasting impact — students are encouraged to use them to build others up, not tear them down.

Non-Compliance

Failure to follow this Code of Conduct will result in a meeting with the student's parent/guardian to discuss the behavior and determine appropriate measures. Repeated or serious violations will result in suspension from or termination of participation in Saints of Florida, Inc. programs. Our goal is always to address issues constructively and help students grow — but the safety and experience of all participants comes first.
